Our story
In 2012, less than a year into my first post-college graduate job at Target, I found myself totally overwhelmed. The hours, frequent working weekends, and managing a team of over 70 employees right out of the gate was more than I could handle. I felt alone, like a failure of a wife; I wasn’t making it to church on Sundays and was missing many of the important metrics at work. I remember just wanting out of my life, so I quit my job.
I did a lot of things with my newfound time, including ordering a $200 candle making kit to make some candles in my kitchen…
As the business grew, so did my vision. I wanted to create a company that felt like home, a place where people could feel connected, like they were part of something special. So, I hired the best dang candle crew out there to make it happen, and the vision came to life. We poured (literally 😉) everything into making lovely candles, picking high-quality ingredients (100% natural soy wax, premium fragrances, and of course, no shortcuts), and making sure every experience felt personal. I wanted people to get more than just a candle; I wanted them to get a piece of the warmth and love that went into making it.
